Earthquake in Padang, Indonesia
Last month, Indonesia had a terrible disaster, earthquake for sure! The Earthquake with 7,9 SR was ruins Padang, West Sumatera at September, 26 2009. The earthquake destroyed almost all village of West Sumatera. Especially in Pariaman City, this place is the most fragile one in West Sumatra. Why? Because, the spot of the earthquake’s source is too close with Pariaman.
When the earthquake happened, so many people inside building, they were did their routine activity, and suddenly the building was damage. So that, many people were trapped in the middle of the damaged buildings. Many people screamed and crying out loud spelling one word : HELP!!. They’re suffered from the most hurt illness. Suddenly, Padang changed into the unusual padang, the ruins of Town, ruins of our Padang.
Many people lost they’re partners, family, even they’re lost some part of their body. After the earthquake finshed shake Padang, there were many people died because ruins of building or just shocked by the Earthquake. On the other hand, so many people safe in this disaster, inspite it is too imposible to safe due to this GREAT Tragedy.
There were so many volunteer came to helped the victims. A big help came not only from Padang, but also from another Town, Island, even another Country. They were so steady and ready to helped. From the first day until all of the victims found alived or even died. The Goverment declare more than 1000 people died.
Ambacang hotel is the one of hundered bulding which having a serious damaged. So many people came to helped the victims while another people came with only watched the damaged of Ambacang Hotel. Many people lost inside this Hotel. And at las found in bad or good condition. Grateful us, Allah SWT always showing us the Miracle in the middle of this Tragedy.
Oh ya this disaster not only attacked West Sumatra, but also in Medan and Aceh. Lucky us, both of that provincy were safe.
We all hopes and pray to Allah SWT, day by day so that no more tragedy happen to Indonesia……. Amin..
the Earthquake in Indonesia is really bad. i have some friends who live in Indonesia and they were injured because of the earthquake ~
