According to Garvin, there are eight standards of product quality, namely:
- Performance: compatibility with the primary function of the product
- Feature: the availability of additional functions / support
- Reliability: the reliability of products for use in a particular period
- conformance: in accordance with the applicable standards
- Durability: long-lived
- Serviceability: the ability to maintain and repair
- Aesthetics: aesthetic value (beauty)
- Perceived quality: a good perception in the eyes of consumers (good name)
